Thank you for visiting Salatana Ocicats.   My Ocicats are my extended family, and I am happy to introduce them to you. Ocicats are wonderful, magnificent cats.  They are spotted and must look wild,  they are solid, well muscled,  and once seen a good example will never be forgotten.  The Ocicat has exotic, wild beauty, however, he has been created from entirely domestic blood, hence a cat with visual impact but a lovely temperament. Ocicats are easy to keep and require no special care. Their short, satiny coats require minimal grooming. They are not particularly prone to any major health problems as the Ocicat has a broad genetic background. The Ocicat shows what man and mother nature can do working together creating a fabulous exotic cat that is a friendly companion.   I am currently working to improve the "wow" factor of the Ocicat in the UK and hence have recently imported top US lines to enhance the breed.  These cats come from well proven healthy lines and hopefully we will produce some more stunning cats.    Salatana Ocicats are regularly at shows in UK and Europe.  I am currently (season 09/10) showing Salatana Evylyn, Salatana Edward and Salatana Digby.  In Show season 08/09 Salatana Mungo was a regioal winner kitten.   My  top Show cat in the season 07/08 was  IW Supreme Grand Champion Sunstone Heatwave of Salatana 5th Best International Cat.  In 06/07 SGC Salatana Sisco kid was a regional winner.   Now I am a TICA judge I will have less opportunity to show but hope to see many beautiful ocicats on the show bench.   contact lindsey@salatana.co.uk RW GRC Tribal Mountain Grown CFA
